What is adeptship?
You can think of adeptship as an optional but highly recommended step before making your ascension. Many ascended masters -Jesus, El Morya, Kuthumi, Djwal Kul, Padre Pio, Lanello and our dear Mother of the Flame – practiced adeptship prior to their ascension.
Simply put, an adept is one who uses God-controlled mastery to be a co-creator with God for greater service to life. You may have been co-creating with God for many years without even realizing it. Every time you make a treasure map, visualize God’s light around a situation or ask God for a specific thing in your spiritual work, you are co-creating with God.
Adepts enjoy this work, in part because they love working with their heart and mind together. They also like studying the great mysteries of God, meditating and pursuing God-controlled mastery of their four lower bodies. They are alchemists and scientists of the spirit in the truest sense. And they work for the greater good of mankind.
Over the years, the ascended masters have called their chelas to walk the path of adeptship. For example, in 1993 Saint Germain said:
“We are ready to transfer to you blessings and initiations and an impetus for greater life within your temple. I ask you, then, to study all that you know about what the adepts have taught , to do some form of yoga, some form of meditation and to do so with the idea of entering in to new octaves of consciousness. Yes, the continent of the mind is open to you but you will not enter in save you have the qualifications”.

We can take comfort in the fact that Saint Germain and other ascended masters would nothave called us to become adepts if it wasn’t possible for us today. In 1993, Mother Mary gave us a practical definition of what it means to be an adept: Adeptship is to be unmoved, to be in the center of the T’ai Chi,to know oneself supremely as God but never as a human god—for God has displaced the human. This is your goal of union.
