The ruby ray activates the first secret ray and ultimately all five secret rays. It is the ruby fire of ultimate love that annihilates ignorance and evil. The path of the ruby ray is the path of sacrifice, selflessness, service and surrender. These four precepts are the key to balancing the threefold flame in the four quadrants, fire, air, water and earth, representing their four lower bodies: etheric, mental, emotional, physical.      

Prayer is the open door through which all blessings flow. It is the passage of light between heaven and earth. It is talking to God; it is the supplication; it is the yearning of the heart. Through prayer consciousness becomes milder, fears are banished ... People all over the world become one when they lay everything of themselves on the altar of prayer, and they feel the wonderful joy of the Christ, who continues His walk with man. They feel the power of the Holy Spirit, and they know that their Savior lives. His promise to those he left behind was, "Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me shall do the works that I do, and he shall do greater than these; for I go to my Father.
