Whatever you do, even if it is giving someone a cup of tea, can be an extension of your heart.

We have more than enough opportunity to practice heart perspective. In a competitive world, where so many people tend to want to immediately hit the other person's Achilles' heel, we have the opportunity to go directly for the heart. You can think, you can speak, you can feel, but pay attention to doing all of this from the heart, just until it feels like it is your heart (and not your head or your ego or your defense mechanisms) that is thinking, speaking and feeling. It takes practice, but it can be done.

"Are you a friend to someone else? You can only have friends if you yourself are a friend. The same goes for love. The secret of attracting what you want is to become yourself what you want to be.
