This is one of the main strategies of the dark ones. Mark Prophet outlines one element of this strategy as "tearing down the Christ image.
Now, the breaking down of the Christ image in every human being happens by someone coming to you and then saying, "Oh, you have a pimple on your face," or "Has your ear always looked like that?" ... and it's calculated to make you laugh, almost. You can almost laugh at it. But in reality, it enters your subconscious to gnaw at you and make you feel like an imperfect being, because outwardly we all have these patterns ...
Even the most beautiful women in Hollywood and the most beautiful men ... have that karmic pattern. So it is, the human race has inherited this, just as it has also inherited its original Divine Image. And, of course, it is that Divine Image that they want to tear down. They want to belittle you.
The fallen angels will detect every little flaw and imperfection in the Christ-man and constantly draw the attention of others to it. This constant pointing out what is wrong in someone, instead of seeing what is right, is the opposite of keeping the immaculate concept.
The fallen ones are constantly condemning the bearer of light. They never give up their condemnation of the child of light. It is the condemnation spoken of in the Bible as the accuser of the brethren "charging them before our God day and night. "We call it criticism, censure and condemnation. It is a little habit we have adopted from the fallen angels, and we tend to apply it to others and ourselves.
The forces of darkness will try to strengthen and draw people's attention to every evil deed you have ever committed. The messenger spoke of this in a healing service:
God does not recognize sin because His light consumed it long ago. But the devil will never forget your sin. He will put it before you at the moment of your ascension. He will hang your dirty laundry out all over the street. And you will say, "Bye-bye!
The problem with these devils is, they make life too serious for us. They make the deep, dark past a kind of huge, huge problem that we can never overcome.
Their goal is to try to make you feel that you are a worthless sinner, eternally damned. This is a lie! The fallen consciousness of the carnal mind, the Luciferian consciousness, is anti-Matter and anti-Mother. Evil [English: e-vil] is the energy veil that covers our vision of our Higher Self. It is not real. It has no power.
The Luciferians are fond of intellectual conflict. They are fascinated by the mental, which is the counterpart of the guru's love. There is a subtle but simple trap they use to make you hate the true gurus - the ascended masters. The Messenger explained this strategy in her first lecture on "The Teachings of the Cosmic Christ.
Without the love for the person of God, you will never quite make it on the Path because, you see, when you accept those grains of sand, dust and condemnation from yourself, the fallen ones never leave you alone. They reinforce every wrong deed you have ever committed. They stage those as paragons of your unworthiness, and they make you believe that they are the Guru speaking into your consciousness-they are God speaking, and you must be damned forever.
Well, a God who condemns you is a God you will hate. The fallen ones know this. If they can impersonate the guru and condemn you and make you accept the condemnation, then you will hate the guru and you will have to leave the guru. You will have to distance yourself from the person of God.
