Chohan is a term that 'Lord' or 'Master' means. It is a title that expresses respect and honor. At the head of each ray is a Chohan. These seven Chohans or "Lords of the Rays" specialize in the qualities of the particular ray over which they have achieved mastery during their many incarnations on earth. They can teach us how we too can obtain (self)mastery on that particular ray. Although we all have natural preferences or tendencies that attract us to one or two rays, everyone must obtain a certain amount of mastery on each of the seven rays if we are to make our ascension. So it is a great privilege to learn more about these Chohans and study under their guidance!
The seven Chohans and their rays are:
El Morya On the first ray of the Will of God,
Lord Lanto On the second ray of Enlightenment,
Paul the Venetian On the third ray of divine Love,
Serapis Bey On the fourth ray of Purity,
Hilarion On the fifth ray of Truth and Healing,
Nada On the sixth ray of Peace,
Saint Germain On the seventh ray of Freedom.
Then there is the Maha Chohan who heads the seven Chohans.
