"Hold fast what you have received!" is the fiat of the Lord uttered by His Lordships as they pass the torch of life to each Keeper of the Flame. Chelas of the sacred fire play a role in the hierarchy plan as they take up the torch of the Holy Spirit and of the Maha Chohan, the Keeper of the Flame of Life.
Anyone who considers themselves members of the Great White Brotherhood would like to consider, must understand the responsibility of hierarchy.
Hierarchy consists of keepers of the flame of life who pass the torch of the Holy Spirit to all generations.
Like Jesus, in whom we find the beginning and the end of the cycles of Alpha and Omega, gathered together in his great example of Christ-consciousness, like him whom we glorify as: the author and finisher of our faith" because he contained the "body " and the "blood" of the eternal Christos, like him we endure the cross, we prepare ourselves for the initiation of the crucifixion, for the joy that lies ahead. And by God's grace, when we have run the race, we will also be "set down at the right hand of the throne of God."
In January 1961, I authorized the formation of the Guardians of the Flame Brotherhood of a circle of devotees within the Summit Lighthouse who would pay supreme allegiance to the Flame of Life and to the Knight-Commander, Saint Germain.
Saint Germain once again went before the Lords of Karma. He requested and received the dispensation to place his purple cape, the mantle of his service, on the altar of humanity, and especially on the altar of all true devotees of the flame of freedom - those destined to be the avant-garde of the Aquarian Age.
To those who would like to give shoulder to shoulder their support to the ascended masters and to our messengers Mark and Elizabeth Prophet for the disclosure of authentic teaching given to them by the hierarchy, a special invitation was extended by the Knight-Commander and me to confirm their sponsorship and their dedication by joining this external brotherhood of the Great White Brotherhood.
Those who responded are those who understood deep within the soul the need to rededicate that flame through daily invocations and decrees made in the name of the I Am Presence and the Christ Self of all humanity - those who are eager to pursue the alchemy of Spirit and to work directly with Saint Germain to precipitate the foundations of the golden age. Those who have remained true to their promise have also understood the need to sponsor the teachings through regular financial support from our organization, The Summit Lighthouse.
Wherever the ascended masters have worked diligently to establish a focus of their teaching, there has always been an attempt by the dark ones to usurp the authority of the prophet, the teacher, of the messenger through control of the purse strings. In this world, it is often the case that those who control supply also control the policies of public and private institutions.
Chelas of the sacred fire who would like to become alchemists of the Spirit must understand the requirements of the law.
By the law of alchemy, if you regularly give support - with heart, head and hand - to our cause through the Hoeders of the Flame Fraternity, we are empowered to give you instruction in the cosmic law that have already laid the foundation for the ascension of not one but a number of Hoeders of the Flame.
The Knights of the Flame Fraternity is a universal spiritual order dedicated to eternal faith, unwavering steadfastness and infinite harmony with the love of God that is forever the radiant flame called life. Keepers of the Flame live for the flame of life, and Keepers of the Flame are the lively stones in the temple of our God.
Herders of the Flame are responsible for the spiritual governance of the brotherhood, which is led by the Maha Chohan, the Keeper of the Flame, and the Knight-Commander, Saint Germain. The board of directors is composed of the seven chohans, who lead various aspects of the unfolding of the law, both through printed instruction and through the individual training that Herders of the Flame receive in the etheric retreats of the Great White Brotherhood. A special Child Guidance Committee, formed for the preparation of parents of incoming souls and for the proper education of children, is led by the World Teachers, Jesus and Kuthumi, along with Mother Mary. All who uphold the honor of the Guardians of the Flame and live according to the principles and precepts of the Law find an acceleration of both inner and outer discipline.
At the founding of the fraternity, the spiritual council, with the help of the entire Great White Brotherhood, the Guardians of the Flame classes established and dedicated as an official channel to serve to further enlighten humanity and overcome ignorance through the light and power of the God Flame. And at the table of the Darjeeling Council it was determined that the sacred knowledge of the flame that the masters promised to release in these teachings should provide a safe platform for ascending souls.
Those who have faithfully served the cause of the Fraternity through their support of the Guardians of the Flame Fraternity have been amply rewarded with countless blessings. All have had the opportunity, though sometimes unbeknownst to their outer consciousness, to attend private teachings at the masters' retreats, as well as at our quarterly conferences, and to balance an extraordinary amount of karma through their application to the violet flame multiplied by the sponsors of the brotherhood (the members of the spiritual council).
Although organizations have failed, although individuals have violated the trust of God and man, the Great White Brotherhood continues to sponsor qualified leadership in external activities and use them both as the threshing floor where the wheat and chaff can be separated to prove who is worthy of association with hierarchy.
I am here to tell you that in the cosmos the victories are far greater than the failures.
Some of you are aware that I was embodied as Arthur, king of the Britons, and that I shared with Lancelot and Guenevere the dream of the Knights of the Round Table and the quest for the Holy Grail.
And let it be known that the messenger Mark was my chela in Lancelot and that my beloved queen Guenevere was his twin flame, your own Elizabeth whose maternal heart now belongs to the world.
The Guardians of the Flame Fraternity is currently composed of souls who have been with us throughout the ages as we sought and found the Holy Grail. And one by one, those who have made themselves worthy have also reserved their places at the round tables of the Brotherhood's ethereal retreats.
So in the ceremonies of the Guardians of the Flame meetings, there is the possibility for initiates of extraordinary devotion to be knighted by the Knight-Commander and sealed as lady's of the flame. Others who have steadfastly embodied a particular virtue, waiting in patience for the Lord, may be given the title of brother or sister of the flame.
Guardians of the Flame, move forward in the quest for the Holy Grail! With the banner of the World Mother, the heart of the Invincible Knight, the shield of Archangel Michael and the sword Excalibur, we will not fail!
