The divine spark burning in your heart.
This flame burning in your heart (one-sixteenth of an inch high) is the divine spark, the potential of your divinity. It is the Creator's gift of Life to creation. "For so dear did God love the world, that He gave His only begotten Son ..."
The consciousness of the Son is concentrated in the flame, which is therefore called "the Holy Christ flame." This Trinity of God's holy fire focuses the main attributes of Strength, Wisdom and Love: His gift, a flame of His own Flame, to every son and daughter.
Truly, this triple flame is the triple Light that illuminates every man and woman of God who comes into the world.
This is the individuation of the God flame through which the Word "becomes flesh" in you and through which you behold in your members the glory of the Lord of all.
The flame burning in your heart is the seat of cosmic consciousness, the hallmark of the son or daughter of God. It is your connection to Reality, to Being, and to eternal Life. It is the anointing by the True Self of all souls who choose to uphold the standard of the Law of the One.
For the original Guardians of the Flame who came with Sanat Kumara, the supreme joy of their service was to ignite the fire of freedom in the hearts of the wayward children of earth; to win them back to their First Love.
Three aspects of the heart flame
Therefore, in the first aspect of the flame, the blue, they taught the worship of God as Law Giver, as the Father principle, and showed people how to internalize and strengthen the will and power of the First Person of the Trinity.
In the second aspect of the flame, the yellow, they sent forth praise to His Light Manation - Christos - as the eternal Son, the Second Person of the Trinity, exemplifying the path of the incarnation of the Word through the wisdom (wise rule) of the Law, while also portraying the qualities of the Teacher.
In the third aspect, the pink, they served Love as the Third Person, the Holy Spirit, and taught the very smallest children the self-realization of the fires of enlightened creativity through compassionate individuality, and revealed the split tongues as the twin flames of the Comforter and the seat of the Divine Spirit.
These things they did. And as ministering servants, they sought to accelerate the operation of all three by awakening the soul's inherent devotion to the Divine Mother - she, the personification of the sacred fire, the white-fire core at the heart of Matter creation - she, the celestial currents, the vital force anchored in the body temples of her sons and daughters, and everywhere in Nature the energy of purity that reignites the Trinity in the hearts of humanity.
The coming of the Ancient of Days
Long ago, the Ancient of Days came to earth to keep the flame of Life so that you and I would live to one day know the True Self as God. He was known as Sanat Kumara, one of the Seven Holy Kumaras who concentrated the Light of the Seven Rays.
When cosmic councils had decided that humanity should no longer be given a chance - so great was their deviation from cosmic law, their desecration of Life - Sanat Kumara raised his hand and offered his heart to serve the souls of humanity until the few and eventually the many would once again assume their responsibility to guard the flame of Life.
With this dispensation granted by the solar lords, Sanat Kumara came to earth with the sons and daughters of God volunteering to support him in his mission as Keeper of the Flame. He established his retreat residence on an island in the Gobizee, now the Gobi Desert. And there on Shamballa he would remain to serve the sacred fires, until some among mankind would stir from the low state to which they had descended through their ignorance (not wanting to know) of the Law of the One - until they would begin again to invoke the name of the Lord and give devotion to the Living Flame of the Most High God.
For in this dark hour of planetary history, all had forgotten their Divine Source, no one gave recognition to the spiritual fire in the temple of man. Therefore, Sanat Kumara and his group of Guardians of the Flame, through worship and invocation of the One God and service to the planetary wave of life, magnified the threefold aspects of Life that the Father-Mother-God had placed in their progeny in the beginning as the triple flame. This they did so that the Children of the Sun would remember their reason for existence.
