The many layers of consciousness that surround the soul - the energy fields of mind and memory, emotions, feelings, physical form, form consciousness, perception and receptacles - have so polarized self-consciousness through external consciousness that this external consciousness has become a synthetic self diametrically opposed to the Real Self. The soul has become a lost identity, lost in time and space. It must be found again. It must be found in God.
Now there is an aspect of yourself that I would like to acquaint you with. It is that point of consciousness that knows the Self that is God while it knows the self that is the soul in the state of becoming God. It also knows all the aspects of consciousness associated with the synthetic image. The Christ Self is your true self. It is what you truly are as an individual reflecting the individuality of God. It is your true personality that is part of the personality of God. The Christ self is your mentor, your personal guru, until the day when, merging with that self, you affirm, "I AM the Christ, I AM the mentor, I AM the guru.
In the planes of Matter, you are a conglomerate of causality - past, present and future. You are a force field - an energy field - a complex atom of selfhood, an organized spiral of identity, a center of soul consciousness evolving into God Self-consciousness. As a force field of causality, you are an accumulation of karma, of energy that is in positive and negative polarity that must be balanced with cosmic law and cosmic cycles, that it might transcend the planes of matter and overcome the limitations of time and space. You have the gift of consciousness. Consciousness centered in the flame of life anchored in the heart knows itself as God - as unlimited potential, as a being that is infinite but tied to a matrix that is finite. The flame is your consciousness of continuity; it is the part of Spirit that is immortal, birthless, eternal.
In the flame you know that you have always existed and always will. In the flame you affirm and exalt the absolute perfection of your being. The flame is a miniature sun. Only one-sixteenth of an inch high in the average man or woman, it is the magnet as your individuality in God. As the flame is the I AM Presence above, so it is the spark of life below. And so you are a duality. Part of the self, the part that is fully realized in God, lives in Spirit; and that part of the self that is not yet fully self-realized in God lives in the planes of Matter. That part is the soul. The soul is the sphere of identity revolving around the solar center, the sacred fire. Dipping into the flame as the source of life in Matter, the soul also knows itself as God. But the consciousness of the soul includes the memory of past incarnations and interactions with other souls.
The soul is surrounded by an electronic force field that contains the cause, effect, record and memory of those energies of karma that require balance before the soul can return to the level of reality in the I AM Presence. This force field is called the electronic belt. It can be diagrammed as the lower half of an egg positioned from the navel (or solar plexus) to below the feet. The daily encounters of husband and wife on the streets of life are in reality the unwinding of the cycles of karma - of positive and negative forces coming into their own for the reckoning of the law of being. Experiences indicate that pockets of energy abused in other lives come from the plane of the subconscious to the surface of the subconscious for the restoration of balance, both within and between souls. In the process, individuals must learn the art of self-control.
Centered in the flame, you can then challenge the negative spirals in the name of your own Christ Self and make a call to the I AM Presence to release the flame in action and to pass the flame through the subconscious for the transmutation of the cause and core of each negative condition. You will change the frequency of energies disconnected from source so that they can be reunited with source. Each time a situation of imbalance occurs in your life, as a chela on the path you must see it as an opportunity in the present to right a wrong of the past. This is how you balance karma.
