Praise God for the joy and beauty of His creation - not least for the beauty of your own soul. Constantly thank God for what you are and what you have and you will see your abundance increase. Be grateful to God for everything that happens to you. Everything - the negative and the positive, the karma, the disasters - because they are teachers, they are lessons. And when things don't go right, praise God for letting them go wrong to remind you that adjustment is necessary to move forward with your spiritual progress. We are all on a path of initiation. The earth is a classroom, and our purpose is to promote out of that classroom.
The lessons we learn during our life's journey are what propel us from one degree to the next. Isn't it true that we have all faced situations in life where we saw no reason to praise God? It is important to realize that everything that comes to you - whether it is a passenger car or a heavy truck, your mother-in-law or perhaps your manager - is energy coming your way. Praise the messenger which brings that bundle of energy and then take the energy from its seemingly negative form. Retrieve it and transmute it into something positive. Do not wait until you have fully and definitively triumphed over life's challenges to be happy, to rejoice, to praise and bless life. Praising God every day and being thankful is a key to your soul's victory.
Praise God in everyone you meet. Try to put a positive spin on everyone you meet. Instruct yourself to find something nice about each person you meet - and then tell them. That something may be just what they need to lift them out of the pit or dispel the feeling that there is nothing really special about them. There is something special about everyone and you can help them see what that is.
"Today, O Lord, I will give a positive spin to everyone you bring into my path." When you say that to God, the world paves a path to your door, because there are so many people who very much need that positive push.
