See, now is the accepted time - we must choose today

"Behold, now is the accepted time, now is the day of salvation," wrote the apostle Paul. We must choose today whether we want to achieve union with God in this life or whether we curse our souls and our God and forfeit this union. If we choose the first path and our souls pass their tests, we will achieve union with God. If we embrace the other path and our souls fail their tests, we have nothing to look forward to except "fiery indignation.

As the author of Hebrews wrote, "For if we sin willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remains no more sacrifice for sins, but a certain fearful expectation of judgment and fiery indignation.

The truth is that most people have neither the spiritual attainment nor the empowerment of God to gain the upper hand over either their egos or their guardians, much less the fallen angels. So they do not hold the reins of their soul's evolution firmly. It is sad but true that without divine intervention, all but a few of humanity are unable to confront and overcome the forces of evil on a daily basis. They do not outweigh the challenge of defeating the forces of evil that reside in their own psyche and even less the forces of evil that reside in the psyche of the planet.

And so, ultimately, until the soul is reconnected with its Sacred Christ-Self, the human ego and the watchman-on-the-threshold are stronger than the soul. And this is one reason why it is not so easy for the soul to ascend from the seat-of-the-soul chakra to the heart chakra.

To ascend, the soul must overcome its tendency to repeatedly fail before its tests on the most important points. She must recognize these key points and try to transcend them daily. And with the help of her Sacred Christ-Self and Archangel Michael, if she makes the effort, she will learn step by step how to challenge and defeat her human ego and her watchman-on-the-threshold.

The day will come when, after diligent application of the laws of God, that soul will have settled 51% of her karma. When she has reached this level, she will finally ascend the spiral staircase from the seat-of-the-soul to her lawful abode in the secret chamber of the heart, there to communicate with her Lord, her beloved Holy Christ-Self.
