The dawning Aquarian Age brings us awareness of God as the Holy Spirit and as the Divine Mother. Aquarius can become an age of freedom, peace and enlightenment. It can become a time of technological advancement combined with spiritual development. It can become a time of detachment from the past.
Chananda, head of the Indian Council of the Great White Brotherhood, stated in 1962, "The Aquarian Age is meant to be an age of absolute cooperation between God and the Ascended Masters, the Ascended Masters and man, and between people everywhere. The symbol of Aquarius - a water carrier with balanced urns indicates harmonious service and abundant provision. This rhythmic spirit of cooperation should be the basis of every relationship, replacing outdated selfishness."1
Some believe that Aquarius will be a golden age anyway. But that proposition excludes free will, and free will is our divine birthright. The Ascended Master Lanto, coming from the Taoist tradition to the West recently said, "It has been prophesied that a gold age civilization will rise again in South America. But don't be superstitious. It will not happen unless you make it happen. It will not happen by itself."2
There are many reasons for this, starting with karma. As the Aquarian Age begins, we can take advantage of the positive karma that we made in the Piscean Age and earlier eras, but we still have to deal with the negative karma of the Piscean Age. In addition, we also have to deal with the negative karma of the Aries and Taurus Era and all the eras that came before it, going back as far as 25,800 years. The burden of history is upon us and that is a very heavy karmic burden.
The use of astrology To predict future challenges
Astrology shows that what has happened before can happen again, for astrology tells us when our positive and our negative karma will return to us. On the negative side of the balance, the cycles of the next 12 years, the next 33 years and the next 200 years point to wars, plagues, political tyranny, economic turmoil, even the sinking of continents.
But it doesn't have to be that way. Roger Bacon, the first modern scientist, said that the purpose of studying astrology is to prevent its negative omens. Bacon believed that it was possible to prevent wars by studying astrology. He said that if the leaders of the church had read the astrological warnings - such as the comet of 1264, which preceded the battles that broke out all over Europe - they could have prevented the wars from in their time might have avoided.3
Saint Germain was incarnated as Roger Bacon. He read the manuscript in the heavens when he was Roger Bacon, and he is reading it today. He brings us a warning and a prophecy of the negative omens of Aquarius. He also comes to tell us that we have the power to change the future and make the Aquarian Age a golden age.

Take these free classes! Karma and reincarnation teach us that the soul following the patterns of nature is on a journey along a path of birth, maturation, death and then is given another opportunity for rebirth. They teach us that we are part of a moving stream of consciousness and that our soul evolves through many life experiences.
Karma and reincarnation show us that our soul, like the legendary phoenix, does indeed rise from the ashes of our previous self to be reborn, and that prior lives contain the seeds of our new life. They can help us understand why we are born with a particular set of abilities and talents, crises and challenges, assignments and aspirations.
