In our physical world, violet light has the highest frequency in the visible spectrum. As Fritjof Capra explains in The Tao of Physics, violet light has a high vibrational number and a short wavelength and therefore consists of light particles with high energy and high momentum. At spiritual levels, that high-frequency energy of the violet flame can digest the waste within and between the atoms of your being. It is like being soaked in a chemical solution, dissolving layer upon layer of the dirt that has been stuck there for years.
Freed from this waste, electrons begin to move more freely, raising spiritual vibration and our energy levels. This action takes place on non-physical or "metaphysical" dimensions of matter. When the energy is repolarized and transmuted, it becomes part of our repository of positive energy.
There is not one among us who does not regret a certain moment in our lives, an act, or an unkind word. We wish we could reverse that. By dealing with the violet flame work, we can send the flame of the Holy Spirit to free both those we have wronged and ourselves from that burden. If the violet flame passing through the emotional, mental and physical layers of our being, it transmutes the cause, effect and imposition of anything less than perfection and brings that energy back to its natural state of harmony with Spirit.
In essence, the violet fire reaches out to us a path with a mini- mum of suffering. If we invoke that light through our prayers, it can help facilitate the process of resolving karma and trauma. It can even enable us to settle some of our karmic debts without the need to meet with the individuals involved. The violet flame is a sacred fire, like the flames that consume the phoenix, and it helps us rise again renewed, refreshed and more whole.
