To the Sons and Daughters of Afra
Afra, traditionally the patron of the African continent and sponsor of the black race, once again comes with a message of unity and brotherhood for his brothers all over the world.This beloved Brother of Light has vowed to solve the problems of diverse peoples, such as civil wars, religious strife, the struggle between Arabs and Jews, between black and white and between Christians and Muslims. Today we need him more than ever!

Who is the Master Afra?
Long ago, Afra offered herself entirely to God to sponsor a vast continent and a powerful people. That continent is Africa. Afra was the first person of the black race to make his ascension. He returned to God and became one with the Light again, having ended a life of devotion and service. When he made his ascension he requested to be simply "brother" or Brother (Latin), to be allowed to be called and so "a brother" became the word Afra.

The continent of Africa is named after Afra. He is the patron saint of that country and also of the black race. The black race was long part of what was called the blue and violet race. Indeed, their skin had a subtle blue or violet hue. These people possessed a high spiritual civilization and lived on the continent of Africa. Africa was once part of the continent of Lemuria, the ancient motherland, a land where in culture, sincerity and beauty were highly valued. Then there existed there an era of freedom and enlightenment whose history has long since been lost. It was a Golden Age with a civilization that had a particularly advanced science and technology.

There indeed existed ancient Golden Ages in Africa when people emerged from the Light of the Causal Body of the Great Divine Director, an exalted Cosmic Being and in turn Teacher of Masters and their disciples. His Causal Body consists of a great blue sphere around the earth that animates the perfect consciousness of the Father's Plan for all life. As also in those ancient Golden Ages, the "Great Divine Guide" continues to sponsor the Divine Plan of Africa, as well as the Divine Plan for Afra's descendants living in the Americas and elsewhere. Since the time of Afra's heavenly experience, by which he showed the way to all brothers and sisters who wanted to follow him, many from the black race have also gone to heaven.

The Real Meaning of the Word "Race"
From a spiritual point of view, there is no black or white race. In heaven, the masters are not designated according to their race or the religion they used to practice. All are known by the quality of their heart or by their heart flame. Every race on earth has come forth from God according to the Seven Rays or the Seven Paths of initiation. Those who now belong to the white race came forth to obtain mastery on the yellow ray (wisdom), the pink (love and charity), and the white ray (purity); hence the different blends and hues of their skin color. These evolutions were destined to place on God's altar the gifts of their personal mastery on wisdom, love and purity.

Those of the yellow race, the Chinese, serve on the ray of wisdom, while those with pink or red skin color were destined to propagate the pink flame of Divine love. Those belonging to the black race originated on the blue and violet ray. Those who belonged to the ancient civilization in Africa had a blue- or violet-tinged complexion. These colors came from the Father-Mother God, Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the End, the first and seventh rays.

Each nation has its own vocation or "Dharma". Each people was called by God to express a special virtue or fulfill a certain destiny. Those who belonged to what is now known as the black race were sent to earth to become masters of God's qualities of His Power, His Will, His Faith and His Trust (on the blue ray) and of God's qualities of Freedom, Justice and Compassion (on the violet ray). This mission is still in effect today.

After their departure from paradise, humanity has become removed from this high state - fallen - and the pure colors of the rainbow are no longer reflected in their skin color or aura. The divide and rule tactics of the fallen are prevalent throughout the world. Instead of regarding each other as brothers and sisters, there is division among the races, as one race oppresses the other. This has destroyed the exalted unity of all God's children and their common origin from one flame.
