Lanello’s 50ste hemelvaartsdag: 26 februari 2023
On Feb. 26, 1973, Mark L. Prophet, the founder of The Summit Lighthouse, passed away. He was united with God in the ritual of ascension and his name is now the Ascended Master Lanello. His soul was at home in the East and West; in the Christian and non-Christian worlds. His soul knew no boundaries of race, religion or culture. His soul knew only the all-encompassing language of (neighborly) love and generosity.
By Elisabeth Clare Prophet
I learned much from Mark's small acts of kindness and love just by watching how he loved people and how he loved me. Mark did not have an easy life, which is perhaps the cause that made him love more and made him more generous and magnanimous. In each of his past lives, Mark developed a different facet of his generous heart.
Mark's past lives
Magnanimous
I will give you the definition of that word "greatness. It literally means great soul or great spirit. Magnanimity means the lofty spirit that enables a person to endure difficulties calmly; to transcend wickedness, pettiness, resentment, jealousy and revenge; to nobly ignore insults, to make sacrifices for a worthy cause. It is noble generosity. Therefore, the definition of "noble magnanimity" is: to show or express a lofty and courageous spirit, to be brave or heroic.
