While Kuan Yin is still an important part of Eastern culture, she has attracted the interest of a growing number of Western devotees in her path and teachings. They recognize the powerful presence of "the Goddess of Grace," along with that of the Virgin Mary, as the illuminator and mediator of the seventh age of Aquarius.
At this time of the dark cycle of the Kali Yuga, when all on Earth are experiencing the accelerated return of personal and planetary karma, Kuan Yin comes to the fore along with Portia, the Goddess of Justice, and other members of the Karmic Council to assist Saint Germain, the Hierarch of the Aquarian Age, to save humanity and the planet and usher in a golden age of freedom, peace and enlightenment.

Representative of the Divine Mother

As the representative of the Divine Mother and as the Divine Helper who has promised to be by our side when we invoke her through the science of the mantra, Kuan Yin offers us an unprecedented opportunity to invoke miracles of the Flame of Grace through her "crystal rosary" for the resolution and healing of any affliction or crisis affecting ourselves, our children, our loved ones, our communities and our nations.
On May 8, 1988, Kuan Yin said in a dictation:

"Test me, beloved. For I come in the midst of the weariness of the saints. I come precisely in the day and hour when some are overwhelmed by the weight of world karma .... I come as a bodhisattva of grace out of mercy for the beloved Saint Germain," who has given everything to save the peoples and nations of the earth.

Support Saint Germain

Kuan Yin came in support of Saint Germain to proclaim the sign and signet of the Aquarian Age - the violet transmuting flame of the seventh ray, the holy fire of the Holy Spirit that is the master's dispensation for the light bearers. She said:

"Let the violet flame increase! Through the violet flame and the violet flame mantra and through my ancient mantras that you recite, I release crystal spheres of my rosary on the earth, crystal spheres of the yin and yang, the Alpha and Omega of the violet flame and the seventh age. I have carried vials of grace for so long, charged like a pregnant woman to give birth to them in this age, but I must find vessels into which I can pour the elixir of grace ...
Call upon me and discover how one word, prayer and command to me, as you move from one place to another, will miraculously bring you the turning of the worlds ...
I embrace the totality of the Motherhood of God, and from the great crystal I direct it, specifically for the seventh ray and the seventh age, specifically for the awakening and the victory of souls through right choice, right action, right alignment with God. I am so determined that this seventh age will be a golden age, beloved ones, that I am everywhere in the consciousness of God where you are. Let the miracles flow out of my causal body! Let the miracles of Kuan Yin flow! Let the miracles of the Great Buddha flow!"

Mahāyāna Buddhism

The long history of devotion to Kuan Yin provides insight into the character and example of this bearer of light who not only laid down her life for her friends, but also took it up again and again as a mediator and burden bearer. For centuries, Kuan Yin has embodied the great ideal of Mahāyāna Buddhism in her role as a bodhisattva (Chinese p'u-sa) - literally "a being of bodhi, or enlightenment," destined to become a Buddha, but has renounced the bliss of Nirvana with the vow to save all God's children.

The name Kuan Shih Yin

The name Kuan Shih Yin, as she is often called, literally means "the one who contemplates, beholds or hears the sounds of the world." According to legend, Kuan Yin was about to enter heaven, but remained standing on the threshold when the cries of the world reached her ears.

There is an implicit faith in Kuan Yin's saving grace and healing powers. Many believe that even the simple recitation of her name immediately puts her on the spot. One of the most famous texts associated with the bodhisattva, the ancient Lotus Sutra whose twenty-fifth chapter dedicated to Kuan Yin is known as the "Kuan Yin Sutra," describes thirteen instances of impending doom - from shipwreck to fire, imprisonment, robbers, demons, deadly poisons and karmic woes - in which the devotee will be saved, if his thoughts remain with the power of Kuan Yin. The text is recited many times daily by those who wish to receive the benefits it promises.

Mantra OM MANI PADME HUM

Devotees also invoke the power and gracious intercession of the bodhisattva with the mantra OM MANI PADME HUM - "Hail to the jewel in the lotus!" or as it is also interpreted, "Hail to Avalokiteśvara, who is the jewel in the heart of the lotus of the devotee's heart!"
It is believed that Kuan Yin regularly appears in the sky or on the waves to save those who invoke her in the face of danger. In Taiwan, for example, there are personal accounts from people who say that during World War II, when the United States bombed Japanese-occupied Taiwan, she appeared in the sky as a young virgin, catching the bombs and covering them with her white robes so they would not explode.

Goddess of Grace

In the Great White Brotherhood tradition, Kuan Yin is known as the ascended female master who holds the office and title "Goddess of Grace," because she embodies the divine qualities of the law of mercy, compassion and forgiveness. She has had numerous incarnations prior to her ascension thousands of years ago, and has taken the vow of the bodhisattva to teach the unsaved children of God how to clear their karma and fulfill their divine plan through loving service to life and the application of the violet flame through the science of the spoken Word.
Kuan Yin preceded the ascended master Saint Germain as Chohan (Lord) of the seventh ray of freedom, transmutation, mercy and justice, and she is one of the seven ascended masters in the Karmic Council, the judicial council that mediates the karma of earthly evolutions - by bestowing opportunity, mercy and the Lord's true and just judgments upon every stream of life on earth. She is the hierarch of the ethereal Temple of Grace above Beijing, China, where she concentrates the light of the Divine Mother for the children of the ancient land of China, the souls of humanity and the sons and daughters of God.

Crystal rosary

Today, Kuan Yin calls people of every walk of life and path of devotion to join her in shepherding the Flame of Life on earth through her "crystal rosary." This ritual of prayer and meditation is derived from ancient Chinese mantras, sutras and novenas, combined with songs and mantras to the Divine Mother of the East and West, including the Hail Mary as well as dynamic decrees invoking the violet flame and the protection of the heavenly armies.
The Crystal Rosary of Kuan Yin is not only a celebration in honor of the beloved Mediatrix of Grace and her Flame, but also the means by which Kuan Yin can strengthen us day by day to face the tough challenges in these times as foretold in the prophecies for our planet.

World Mother

As World Mother, Kuan Yin works with Jesus Christ and Lord Gautama, Maitreya, Sanat Kumara and the ascended masters. She is our friend, mentor and protector who can and will help us as we work together with the celestial hierarchy - the entire Spirit of the Great White Brotherhood - to defeat all that opposes the divine plan and divine identity of every light soul on earth.

In a dictation given on April 3, 1988, Kuan Yin explained:

"With music and sound you have the best means to enter higher vibrations and compartments of God ... Every call you make to me, I promise you, will enter my heart as the momentum for rescuing the pearls of light that are now lost in the astral sea. This is why Mother Mary is eternally shedding tears. That is why I join the armies of the Lord, armed, beloved, moving with the archangels and Astrea to find them. That is my mission of love ...
Those who take and give my rosary will therefore first of all increase grace for themselves. And that grace that descends into your cup ... will fill all your house, until the abundance of your grace, summoned and returned to you, can then be extended in ever-widening circles. Since we all need grace and some will surely be lost without it, I am determined to be the Bodhisattva of Grace until no soul needs it anymore, for by my example many will have become it."

In a memorable dictation given in San Francisco on Feb. 14, 1988, after the lecture on "The Path of the Divine Mother of the East and West: Mother Mary and Kuan Yin," the Goddess of Grace announced the following:

"This is the hour when you can appeal to the Lords of Karma for a dispensation of the flame of grace, the violet flame, when you make the request to use that dispensation specifically for the mitigation, reversal, transmutation of those prophecies" that may come true.
"All who therefore wish to join me in the bodhisattva vow for the redemption of the lightbearers on earth, to you I say: the extraordinary light of the violet flame is given to those who wish to direct it and invest it in the redemption of that which might be lost without that impulse and in the transmutation of the karma of the lightbearers that can now be removed."

That same day, Mother Mary, with whom Kuan Yin works very closely, said:

"I am your Mother-initiator together with Kuan Yin ... Let the tone be heard - the tone of harmony, the tone of warning, the tone of teaching, the tone of the Guru and Divine Mother. Let the souls hear this tone and the sound of the ancient bell ringing for the seventh age and the seventh ray. Let the violet flame, like ribbons of light, make contact with all hearts that long for Kuan Yin, for Saint Germain, for the eternal Light."

Mother Mary once told us:

"Blessed Kuan Yin has become known as the female savior from the East who performs the same and identical function as myself, but each of us brings to this office of Mother her own achievements and experience, which are different because we serve on different rays."

In her dictation of April 17, 1988, Mother Mary encouraged us to recite the Hail Mary, which is part of Kuan Yin's Crystal Rosary:

"... Even interspersed with the OM MANI PADME HUM; and Kuan Yin and I will weave a purple and emerald wreath, a rope that becomes the lifeline that is lowered into the astral wells ... Together with Kuan Yin I come. I come with a thread of my heart to everyone of this nation who in this or a past life has spoken my name in devotion and prayer."

A thousand needle-like rays

Kuan Yin teaches us that through every mantra and prayer, song and decree that form the crystal beads of her rosary, Divine Mother weaves an "umbilical cord" to souls entangled in the "bitter sea" of karmic conditions. If you intone the Divine Word and magnetize the aura of the compassionate bodhisattva, you are able to emit from your own heart a thousand needle-like rays - each one a different nuance of compassion - to someone in need.

When you have attracted the light and awareness of Kuan Yin and the ascended masters of the Great White Brotherhood, with whom she works, you not only wield a greater capacity and creativity in your chosen service to life, but you are also able to convey to others the energy and vibration of the violet flame and seventh ray for true spiritual healing and liberation. On the occasion of the recording of these mantras in King Arthur's Court at the Royal Teton Ranch, Kuan Yin's presence was very tangibly felt and she revealed to us that through the pure energies of our devotions she had been able to save certain souls in America that very afternoon.

Kuan Yin promised us in her May 8 dictation:

"Every time you give one of my mantras, beloved ones, the utterance of my name in the heart and being of an individual ecstatically, immediately makes me one with that body of flesh and blood. Understand that God has given me that grace for the bodhisattva vow that I have taken, for he is the grace-filled God in whose image I am made. And that merciful God has had mercy on me because I have vowed to remain and remain until eternal life is granted to all who come from it and are worthy of it.
Therefore, beloved, know that that grace gives me these powers. That grace, in response to my vow, gives me wisdom and love and resourcefulness for action, for preaching the dharma, for reaching everyone everywhere, and you can be the same.
May you in giving these mantras so lovingly and worshipfully, begin to learn them by heart and ... begin to understand how I can come into one of my many bodies to be the fulfillment of a crisis, because you as the alchemist have selected the exact vibration for healing. A cure is needed here and there and everywhere, a cure for every handiwork and every handyman ... A cure is needed regardless of your role of service."

Give a mantra to Kuan Yin

Kuan Yin described her rosary as:

"A crystal bell that rings and intones itself in many levels of Matter, including the astral plane. That rosary, beloved ones, enables me to be wherever that sound reaches. O it is a powerful doorway I can enter as I strive to become more physical each day!
I ask you to put me to the test, to make your demands upon me and to command my light and to continue with it until you find that you have reached the limits of my ministry. For I tell you, beloved ones, there is no thing of the will of God that I will not bring forth alchemically - if you are able to bear it, maintain the harmony for it and if you strive for the internal integration of the soul in the seventh-ray chakra with the fiery heart of the living Christ-bodhisattva."
