A POWERFUL HIGH-FREQUENCY LIGHT
Isaac Newton, the great physicist and mathematician of the seventeenth century, discovered that white light breaks up into the seven colors of the rainbow: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo and violet. If we hold a prism in front of a sunny window and focus the refracted light on a wall or ceiling, we see that the white light breaks up into primary and secondary colors and resembles a vibrating rainbow.
As you probably know, violet is the color that has the highest frequency that can be observed in a rainbow. And if you have ever studied the magnificent rainbows that sometimes appear after a rainstorm, you have also seen that the violet seems to disappear into infinity as if there is more behind it than the physical eye can see. This is also true. The violet disappears into a violet ray of a higher frequency, forming a bridge between the physical and spiritual worlds. The ancient mystics and alchemists saw this transitional color as a spiritual rather than a physical phenomenon.
Visible light is only a small part of an electromagnetic spectrum of varying frequencies or wavelengths such as radio waves, microwaves, infrared radiation, visible light, ultraviolet, X-rays and gamma rays. Of the visible light, violet light has the shortest wavelength and the highest frequency. Like the violet color in the natural rainbow, this high-frequency violet light can be understood as a transition point from the visible to the invisible, from the physical to the spiritual level.
Helena P. Blavatsky, esoteric researcher and co-founder of the Theosophical Society in the 19th century, described, that light consists of seven colors or "rays" - each of which has specific attributes or qualities. Each of these seven rays is a concentrated spiritual light that has a specific effect on body, mind and spirit. The violet flame comes from that aspect of light called the violet or seventh ray, and this flame has the unique ability to transform energy.
