Like a drop of water
does not stick to a lotus leaf
or like a lotus flower
untouched by water,
so the sage attaches himself to nothing -
What he has seen, heard or thought
GAUTAMA BUDDHA
Gautama Buddha, the "Compassionate One," holds the office of Lord of the World (called "God of the Earth" in Revelation 11:4), hierarch of the etheric retreat at Shamballa (above the Gobi Desert), where he supports the triple flame of life for the evolutions of the earth. Gautama (who was embodied as Siddhartha Gautama 563 B.C.) is the great teacher of enlightenment through the mastery of the ten perfections, the four noble truths and the eightfold path through the soul, and sponsor of Summit University and of the mission of the Mother of the Flame to carry the torch of enlightenment for this age.
Gautama came at the hour when Hinduism was in its worst state of decadence. The priesthood was involved in nepotism and guarding the great secrets, the real mysteries of God, from the people, keeping the masses in ignorance. The caste system had become a means of imprisonment of the soul rather than a means of liberation through dharma. Born Prince Siddhartha, he left palace, power, wife and son to attain that enlightenment by which he could return to the people what the invaders had taken from them.
Gautama Buddha was the first initiate to serve under Sanat Kumara, hence the one chosen to succeed him in the office of Lord of the World. On January 1, 1956, Sanat Kumara placed his mantle on Lord Gautama, upon which the Chela par excellence of the Great Guru also became the hierarch of Shamballa.
At inner levels, he maintains the triple flame of life, the divine spark, for all God's children on earth.
The Lord of the World supports the triple flame in the evolutions of the earth by a filigree light extending from its heart. This is thus bypassing the karma of the individual, leaving so much darkness around the heart that the spiritual arteries or crystal cord are cut.
The comparison of this is seen when the arteries in the physical body become so clogged with debris that the area of blood flow is greatly reduced until it becomes a point of insufficiency and the heart can no longer stay alive. This is similar to what has happened on the astral plane.
So Sanat Kumara came to earth to keep the flame of life. And so Gautama Buddha keeps this triple flame in Shamballa, and it is part of every living heart. Therefore, when the disciple approaches the Path, he understands that its purpose is to come to the place where the triple flame down here is sufficiently developed in his own heart that he indeed, with or without the filigree thread from the heart of Gautama Buddha, is able to sustain life and soul and consciousness and the initiatory path.
Beloved ones, this step in itself is a feat few on this planet have achieved. You have no idea how you would feel, be or behave if Gautama Buddha withdrew that support from the filigree thread and momentum of his own heartbeat and triple flame from you. Most people, especially the youth, do not consider what is the source of the life they experience in exuberance and joy.
About this gift, Gautama himself said on Dec. 31, 1983:
I am very observant. I observe you through the contact of my flame through the wire contact I maintain with the triple flame of your heart - I maintain it as I do until you pass from the seat-of-the-soul chakra to the heart of hearts [the secret chamber of the heart], and you yourself are able to support that flame and its fires in this octave.
Did anyone here ever remember that at birth he ignited his own triple flame? Did anyone here ever remember taking care of the fire or keeping it burning? Beloved hearts, recognize that acts of love and courage and honor and selflessness certainly contribute to this flame. But a higher power and a higher Source hold that flame until you yourself are one with that higher power - your own Christ Self.
Therefore, they all receive the boost of my heart flame and impulse. And as that light from the Godhead passes through me, I therefore perceive many things about you and your daily life that you might think a Lord of the World, who must be very busy indeed, is not mentioned or noticed.
Well, indeed I am! But I am never too busy to notice the elements of the Path presented by parents and in families and communities and in the schoolrooms of life everywhere. Because my job is to make sure that some element of the Path of initiation that leads to the heart of Jesus and Maitreya is part of the life of every growing child.
