The ascended masters and their messengers are here to help us with our problems, and can assist us wonderfully if we call upon them and their mantles. Be humble enough to accept help. Life itself is a great teacher of this lesson. We often find ourselves in situations where we are forced to humbly ask others for help. God Meru speaks to us about this humility:
And so, you see, the sense of need, the sense of interdependence, of mutual responsibility and service, is meant to evoke humility. Humility is that golden quality, which is not inflated with pride in its own achievements, which does not remain as an island separated and apart, which does not strive to climb the Himalayas or the Andes Mountains alone, but is willing to work, to walk, to watch, to wait and to feel the rope of others on the Path pulling you up, of others below who need your service.
El Morya tells us about the lone climbers trying to make their way alone. The high plains of the Himalayas, he says, are littered with the remains of those who rejected the hierarchy. That's why the ascended masters gave us guides and the ropes and tools we need. The guides are the masters and their messengers. The ropes are the understanding of the cosmic hierarchy and your connection through the messenger's robes to your own I AM Presence and Sacred Christ-Self. The tools are the knowledge of the Teachings of the Ascended Masters, the strategies of light and darkness, and the Science of the Spoken Word as the outpouring of holy fire and the holy Word to face all problems, great and small.
