This is why so many people lead such an unreal existence

The following passages from the book "Alchemy of the Heart" are about teaching the heart.

Hermann Hesse said, "There is no reality except that within ourselves. That's why so many people lead such an unreal existence. They think the images outside them are reality, and don't give the world inside a chance to assert itself.'

'Knowledge in itself does not guarantee our entrance into the kingdom of heaven or our spiritual attainment or our oneness with God. What it does is how much we love.'

Wisdom is a wonderful virtue. But unless our wisdom is fused with love and with the divine will, our intellect is spiritually helpless.

Teaching the heart enables us to realize our full spiritual potential. Teaching the heart shows us how to rely on our own inner abilities and our own inner strengths to face daily challenges. Teaching the heart increases the soul's ability to step outside of itself - to explore the outer limits of the universe as well as the deepest depths of existence.

Our heart and soul are constantly feeling, sensing and perceiving that which cannot be explained by empirical evidence. Things that are incomprehensible to the intellect are perfectly understandable to the heart and soul. If we do not pay attention to the delicate instruments of our inner life or tune them precisely, our innate spiritual abilities remain inactive.

Actually, God and your inner spirit are the only real teachers. All other teachers are substitutes, who are there to assist us until we learn to listen to the wisdom of our own heart and soul and higher mind.

Teaching the heart prepares us to become living transformers of love. We learn to intuitively sense what others need, and we learn to meet that need with exactly what is needed in that moment. That alchemical formula always comes from the heart.

When faced with a problem that has no logical solution, take the time to enter your heart and ask your Higher Self to activate the divine intelligence of your heart and reveal the answer you seek. Then listen to your heart's answer. Be patient, for it may come immediately, or it may unfold over the next few hours or days.
