Archangel Raphael, whose name means "God has healed" or "God will heal" serves on the Emerald Ray, the Fifth Ray.The Zohar, a Jewish mystical text, says that Raphael has the ability to heal the earth and also to heal people. In Christianity, he is worshiped as the angel who healed the sick at the well of Bethesda.Raphael's divine twin soul is Mary, the mother of Christ. The Ascended Masters have told us that God summoned a female Archangel, named Mary, to come into incarnation so that at some point she could become the mother of Jesus.In preparation for this mission, Mary served very long ago on the continent of Atlantis and worked there in the temples of healing. She is sometimes referred to by other names, such as Mother Mary, the Blessed Virgin or the Queen of Angels. Mother Mary holds the "pure vision" for every soul on earth.
